I prefer to knock mine out in a single day but it doesn't always work out that way. If I do it all in a single (long) day I'm assured that the grass will be green......it will rain for the next three days!

With customer cars I get them done in 4-6 hours, but with my family's vehicles I tend to take more time yet still finish in one day. I never know what my schedule is going to be so I like getting vehicles done in one day. With my personal vehicle I tend to neglect it a bit, but as others have said after cleaning customer cars all week I don't necessarily want to clean up my own rig. When I do I make sure I do everything that needs to be done, interior and exterior. My "new to me" Jeep needs a lot of work, especially the hard top. I'm slowly doing small things here and there (ie undercoating on the frame/undercarraige one day, clay a section another day, etc). The hard top needs to be hit with some 2,000 grit to smooth out the finish and then buffed out. I need to get it done fast so I can get it protected before wheelin' season starts

It really depends on what the vehicle needs and what vehicle it is. Also for me being disabled i simply cannot get things done in one day it just is not possible so it may tackle me several days and even as long as a couple weeks tackling certain areas at a time. With the Truck since i drive it mostly in the winter and the Mustang gets parked. I will spend one day getting the undercarriage clean and then maybe half of the next day getting the engine detail done. Then the next weekend washing and claying then follow that the next day depending on how i feel with the polishing and waxing. And then work on the interior. The cars are small enough and usually do not require as much works as the truck but sometimes they are also several days worth a work.
