Comparo: UDM vs. PC vs. ... , Part I

What I'm really curious about now is the comparison from GG's Orbital to the UDM. Anyone on this forum has GG's machine and also ordered a UDM?

If I remember correctly Joe from Superior Shine had GG's machine and found it having less correction abbilities than PC. So, if UDM is found to have more correction abilities than PC your question would be answered.

In my experience I find that I'm running the UDM at lower speeds (4.5) and accomplishing the same thing as the PC on 6.

You bring up a great point Zoran. Based on just a hunch of my feeling it doesn't feel at all that it has enough power compared to a PC. I might think of returning it and pick up a UDM in a few months after all the initial batch has gone out and the testing has been completed by the consumers (us) :).

ZoranC, I use a 5" backing plate with 6.5 LC CCS pads, as I'm still in the learning stage the UDM to me is the same as a PC, but when you speed it up to 5 or 6 it has more power and torque. I did a few corrections on my wife's car that i think i couldn't have with the PC. Just give me mine time and i be able to do more work with this and learn also too. Maybe next year i might try a rotary.
