$179.95 and up for a standard vehicle. SUV and show cars additional. We are located in Western New York. We had a foot of snow since Monday. We do only retail. Two cars Monday, Three today and three on the books for tomorrow. Not bad for the winter months. This just goes to show you that people will pay for quality work in adverse weather conditions, like 1 foot of snow.

speaking of which I have an appointment the day after Christmas to get Ziebart's rust protection sprayed into my (already detailed) blazer.... its the soonest they could get me in....

$85-??? Small cars in great shape I can knock out in 2.5 hours for $85, but most vehicles end up in the $100-175 range. It all depends on size, condition and customer needs (or wants).

In Denver we start at $225.00 for a car, $250.00 for PU's and $300.00 for full size SUV's. We break it down to interior starting at $150.00, exterior at $150.00 and engine's at $40.00. We let everyone know that these are starting prices and there may be additional costs added once we see the vehicle and determine if it needs any special attention. We are a full time retail only detailing business open year round. Extremely high visibilty on a very high traffic street has made a huge difference. 13 years same location.

What's the point of detailing in the winter. Shrugs. Sorry maybe it's my beef with Denver. I'm glad to be out of Colorado.

We answer the "WHAT'S THE POINT" question daily. Our answer is to put a protective finish between your vehicle and the elements. Since we are very visible we get a few dozen calls every day, many from cell phones of people that see us (through our overhead glass doors) working even when it snows. They ask that same question all the time. I tell them that our service is not just for the temporary shiny vehicle they get back when they pay but for the long term protection of a very expensive investment they made. With the introduction of the new liquid de-icer (magnesium chloride) being used the last few years I find it easy to convince almost any customer of the need to get that chemical off their cars as soon as they can due to the corrosive nature and visible damage to high cost alloy wheels.

No idea what makes you dislike the area but it works for me and I love it here.

Now there's a rare breed - a Texan that doesn't like Colorado!

Moved our here to Colorado Springs 6 years ago, couldn't love it more. Guess it's all about what you enjoy. I lived in Dallas close to 10 years, and I can say that it's a great place to find work. I personally got tired of the brutal summers and the endless "ozone warning" (pollution) days. Move to Colorado Springs to improve my families quality of life, enjoy the four seasons, and all the backcountry activities.

YIKES! I would stay away from Ziebart unless you know the guy running the franchise. Most of the cars I detail that were rustproofed by Ziebart are rusting in only the spots where Ziebart drilled their holes.
