Collinite

Yeah, direct comparisons on my wife's silver A8 showed that #16 looked better (well, at least to us). The areas I did with 845 didn't bead as long as the areas I did with #16, but the areas I did with 476S beaded *longer*.

What is 476S?

476s is the paste in a tin, I think.

I have purchased the 845IW for my cars to protect them through the British winter...

Used it yest for first time, awesome kit,, car has as much depth as when done with Souveran!!!

Just to make you guys feel better, even on a special deal cost was £20 ---- $30!!!

That £20.00 / $30.00 doesn't go very far when you think that the Collinite has to be imported to the UK, add the import tax (approx 11%), then add VAT (17.5%) onto the cost of the wax, shipping and import duty, then finally add the courier clearance fee. Then add a Poorboys DMT towel, two terry applicators and free postage (£2.50 / $4.50)..... It soon mounts up!

Back on track..... How *I* see the Collinites and #16:

The 845 IW is the easier of the three waxes to use but, the sacrifice is that it doesn't last quite as long as the 476s although I'd say it's close to #16.

The #16 is the hardest of the three to use but gives a slightly wetter look than he Collinites compared to their very 'clean shine'.

The 476s outlasts the other two, slightly more work than the 845IW but less than the #16. This one is the Daddy in terms of durability, yet still gives a great look.

Cheers :).
