I have collinite Grand Marque #915 on my girlfriends Honda Civic..I have 2 coats of Ex..and topped with 2 coats of 915...Has a great shine...been on for months and still looks the same..and as far as beading...Great...the water just rolls off..and when driving its like blow drying the car..even in the rain..water just rolls off..only down fall is..if put on to thick..a bear to get off..

just do a few panels at a time and remove...plus find some shade makes it a bit easier...so car is cool...all in all its a very durable and good shining wax....

The guys at Collinite privately said I can use 476s and get the same look a nd better durability for half the price.

Yes...Spilchy...I agree...

I also talked to a rep..and told me that 476s will be more durable..but the 915 will be close but a better gloss....

I was told the 915 was a more refined carnuba and a higher % of carnuba also..some sort of white carnuba..what ever that means

but refining it takes away from durability in a sense but adds to gloss...but 476s is thier long lasting wax...we use it on the boat..hands down..very durable...and boat is in 24/7 in Lake Ontario for the summer...

.I would not hesitate to use 476s on my cars..but got the 915 for 18.00 a can on a sale at a marinia...

both are great winter waxes....a quick hose off in coin car wash and car looks nice again...no grime sticking....

Again Spilchy is correct..476S for the money is as durable as you can get ..and looks great also......

#16, no question. As much of a beauty wax as S100/P21S IMO and great durability. Beads like mad too.

Just curious on EX-P; do you mean no beading when you wash or no beading when it rains? I've got EX-P on my car at the moment as my last step product, applied about a month ago. I haven't washed my car in about 3 weeks (hey, I've been busy) and it beaded very nicely the last two days with all the rain we've had (5" so far this month). When I wash it though, and blast it with water, it sheets very nicely. Makes it easier to dry.

No beading it rain. Well, minimal. I have VM on my sunroof and you can see the beading nicely on that, but not much on the EX-P. I'm going to apply more EX-P tomorrow after I wash and then put #16 on it i think :)

Oh, I know about getting busy. :( That's the problem, and then after detailing all the time washing your own car is an "UGH!" thing to think about sometimes.

I know what you mean, Corey. I got home today after washing a Suburban, Excursion and Cadillac DTS and washing/polishing/waxing a Passat and 330ci and my choices were wash my car or go work out (lift and run, did chest and bi's today!) with my kid. I'd rather work out with my kid. :)

Oh yeah, I forgot. Two items my son wants to take back with him to keep up on his Mom's Explorer and whatever he may get this year-Vanilla Moose and #16.

VM is awesome. I was just going to put more LS on my car, but then I was like "oh, why not..."

VM + finishing pad + PC on 4.5=whoaaa. Nice.

I could imagine it makes a good combo with #16.

Do #16 and #476S attract a lot of dust? Which one of the two attracts the least? TIA

No, they don't. And when it rains, a lot of whatever *has* settled on the vehicle will just rinse off.

A lot of good carnubas out there MOTHERS 3M #16 NATTIES SOUVERN TRADE SECRET .........TAKE YOUR PICK ALL GOOD

I've now used #16 and 476s on the Lexus and I definately reccomend the #16 to you. The 476s will give you your beading, but the #16 will do it too and give you a better look. If it proves to be as durable as the 476 I might use it instead of the Collinite this winter.
