Collinite over NXT Paste

Here are the visual results of my winter prep, NXT Paste X6 (over a 3 week period) and Collinite IW 845 X3 (this past weekend). Who knows for sure how long it will last, but it sure is pretty.

Your Collinite will probably outlast the 6 applications of NXT.

it has cleaners. im sure they did remove some of the layers under it, but it also depends on how muich pressure and what pad he used to apply the wax. also if it was by pc or machine.

thats my definate answer for the ongoing "is NXT layerable" question

More like three coats one weekend, two the next weekend and 1 plus the 3 of IW this weekend.

MOL is of the opinion that the cleaners in NXT are not strong enough to remove enough of a previous layer to make much difference, but that anything over three layers is a waste of product/time because of diminishing returns

Sure did and sure have.
Easy on. Easy off. Slick. Looks good. Durability unknown, but not much of a factor on my vehicles anyway.

Yeah thats pretty much my experience with it. How would you compare it with UPP in terms of ease of use, slickness, and looks?

Very comparable in ease of use and slickness. I can't really say about the look since the UPP has always seemed to show off better on a darker colored car. The white van looks about the same to me with either one. As far as beading is concerned, I've only used S&W on the IW since it was applied so I can't comment just yet.
