Collinite IW or P21s over SG on dark colour?

Just clayed my new car and polished using SSR2.5 and SSR1 before applying AIO and two coats of SG. The car is a graphite grey metallic and has come up really well, just looks a bit "plastic" after the SG. Which of the above will give the wettest deepest shine (not interested in durability)...? I have both in my arsenal although on here someone suggested gold class for dark colours! (I have that too!) Or should I put the p21s over the iw?!!!

Any opinions gratefully received! And no I don't have any Souveran... it's too expensive over here at GB£40!! :shocked

I'd say the Collinite 845 would have the edge in durability and P21S would have a better shine/gloss factor.

Why don't you put each on half of the hood and show us the pictures so we can see if there's a perceptible difference.

I use the Collinite 845 on my winter driver and it shines well and lasts a whole long time.

Or you could go buy a can of #26, it tends to darked/enrich colors like that. I dunno about using the Gold Class, I'd worry that its (mild) cleaners might compromise the SG.

Between the 845 and the P21S I think the P21s would be more to your liking on this one.

I, too, have a dark graphite gray metallic car. I decided to use 845 last winter for durability reasons. Overall, I wasn't happy with the look, too much shine, not enough depth, just like you find with a lot of sealants. If you don't like the look of SG on your car, you probably won't be happy with 845, IMHO.

I also have a metallic black car, and I'm looking for a Nattys alternative. I'm thinking about P21S, Collinite 845 and CK CMW. What do you recommend?

I've used both IW and P21S on my Sable Black (not metallic) Caddys and to me anyway, they both have a very nice gloss. They go over AIO and SG as well.

The P21S seems to have a 'shimmer' look to it in spots, may be because of poor application practice or something below the wax. I'm still learning, and I figure what better to learn on than black.. oy vey... :)

Thanks my friend !!

Maybe, I'll buy Collinite 845IW and P21S, and I'll put P21S over 845IW, I read about this in Autopia many times with nice results.

Thanks again !!
