Fleetwax and 476 are the same wax, just in different containers. I don't know that I'd say 845 is the same because it "was originally developed for use by electric power companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions......" It's pretty good stuff, but not quite as durable in *my* opinion as the 476.Guy said:So all the paste waxes are the same? Fleetwax, 476s, and Marque? Is the 845 the same as the paste but in liquid form?
Guy said:This is the answer I got back from an email I sent:
Broadly speaking, 885 and 476 are very close products, 476 being directed to the auto market and 885 to marine and aeronautical. 915 has a higher concentration of brazillian caranuba and brings up a stronger shine. 885/476 is a more durable wax over the 915.
When I talked to Collinite (about a year or so back) they told me that Fleetwax (885) was the same as 476.Padron said:So, is 885 the same as 476? or close to the same as far as durability goes?
Is there any better place I should look to get this than here:
http://www.mactecllc.com/collinite.asp
They have free shipping.
Thanks!

MacTec is the same place where I ordered my 885 and 845.

Just got off the phone with them they said 885 and 476 are the same and 845 is the liquid version of the 885 / 476, and the paste is the most durable.....They also said 915 Marque has more carnauba, but is less durable than 885 / 476...
