collinite 845

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
on vacation this week, so yesterday i thought i would try one of the underdogs of the wax camp. 845. used this as a LSP over DP poli sealant. OMG!! this stuff is unreal. applied and removed with ease. paint looks like a liquid pool. i was told this stuff is really going to last also. impressive.

It's definitely not one of the waxes talked about in the flavor-of-the-week club, but I do find that it looks pretty darn good and offers as good protection as anything I've used. It is really helpful on leading edges during the spring-fall sessions here as it really helps fight the bugs.

845 is that type of LSP that will give you more bang for your buck. It's been my top 5 favorite for way too long now.

I have heard stories of guys displaying their show cars topped with 845. People approach them expecting to hear they use some boutique wax worth hundreds of dollars only to hear that their bottle only cost them about 15 bucks.

I'm also sure you're all aware about how you can shake it up for a few minutes to get it to a liquid state that's sprayable? I've tried it and it works. It's actually pretty neat.

lol! it was like jelly when i got it yesterday. soaked it in some hot water then shook it up. i did replace the top with a squeeze top. you are correct. i have read that you can spray it on.

Every time I try putting a thin wax or glaze (i.e. Banana Gloss, etc) the nozzle always clogs on me. :( Must be doing something wrong.
