Collinite 845 or Z2 PRO?

I'll figure it out....
Ok, first off, not looking to start any wars here; just need some

productive feedback....

I have a new customer. She has a 05 Toyota Forerunner with a silverish/ blue

color paint. Below is the color the truck has.

She wants something that will lok glossy/ reflective on the paint and last through

a good portiion of this winter. She was hipped onto Zaino, and was hoping to

get that put on, but she is open to other options. Plans initially are to do a

wash, paint cleaning, and then apply protection. There is extremely light

marring, but from what I gather, there may not be enough time to do a polish, so

I anticipate leaving it out until I know sure sure. She knows quite a few folks

looking to get their vehicles detailed and winterized, so doing a good

job for her would get me more clients.

Lately I've been using 845 and/ or OCW. 845 has really begin to grow on me

now that I have had time to play around with it. I really like the look on most

paint, and it seems to hold up quite well. But since I am now starting to get more

Zaino inquiries, i figure maybe it's something to have on hand (new vehicles or

vehicles on very good condition). I am a little concerned about time, as I've read

Zaino can require a little more time to work with, as oppossed to just applying

some other wax or sealants. Obviusly, I've never used Zaino before, and the

window for experimentation is very limited right now. I expect to have the

vehicle this coming Thurs. or Firday.

So, what I am wondering from those who've used both, which would you go

with? Which one appears to be clearer?

Only have used Zaino, and if your looking for something clear, man Z is clear.

Mixed with ZFX Z2pro will cure in 20 min or less. Add an extra drop(1) to have it set up in like 10 minutes.

You can apply up to 3 coats with ZFX enabled Z2pro in a 24 hour time period, with no wait inbetween.

To avoid a second wash after the polish, i would get some ZPC also.

Collinte will work just as well on a customers car too though.

Thanks for the response. Have a few more questions. First, can Z5 be used

in place of Z2? Lastly, is Z5 as clear as Z2? Reason I'm asking is that

I found that Z5 is supposed to be a sealer with hiding ability. Just not

sure if it can be used on it's own or if it has to go on first, then apply Z2.

Personally, I'd go with 845 since, while not going to be quite as durable as Zaino, it will still hold up well and no mixing, no waiting, just apply and remove. I am all for keeping it simple as long as the results are there.

If you are willing to order Zaino and play around with it though, it would be a good idea. You may find you really like it.
