I got 476s on my moms hummer h3 trim and it turn the part I went over white.

Sorry to hear that happened, but I'm glad you posted that so people can see that it's a YMMV sort of thing.

I currently have 845 with 476S over it on the black trim of my Blazer and DenaliXL. Dunno if having the 845 on as a base layer makes any bid difference or not :nixweiss The vehicle where I had 476S on the rubber trim was an '80s Volvo 240 wagon. But that apparently doesn't mean it's gonna work out so well for everybody!

One thing though...when the Collinite eventually fails, then it *does* degrade into a white staining. But this is easily cleaned off and it'll also go away if I just apply more Collinite. I get the feeling the whiteness might be oxidation but I dunno for sure.

i was looking over my car today when i was at school (looking for any new dings haha) and noticed that there was a bird bomb on the spolier. it must have atleast sat for 24 hours or so. I wiped it off with a white cloth i had in my duffle bad with some drinking water and it came off like butter. Now once i get home im gonna spot polish the spolier and reapply some 845 on there. I love it! It matches s100/p21s in the looks departments and so far seems to outlast it by a long shot.

I noticed that too with 845...very nice resistance to the acid in droppings. I had one where it was like a chili pepper colored that seemed to stain the clear coat after sitting in the hot sun for some time. Turns out this stain was embedded within the layers of 845 and was easy to sort out. 845 is the bomb!...errrr...is the sh*t....errrr....you get my drift. :getdown

Even though 845 is labeled as an insulator wax is it really a wax or a type of sealant? Is there any nuba in 845? I just tried it over the weekend and I think it matches the depth and clarity of s100 when I used it on my dark blue celica. THe mettalic flake just pops out, I absolutely love it!

I just got a bottle yesterday from Danase*. The ease of application, and removal was a breeze. Left a great shine, coat of protection. Raining here today, I have those tight beads Collinite is known for.

Wished I had tried this product years ago......
