I opened a Coke in the Car the other day and it sprayed pretty Good. Today I noticed I have Drops of coke Syrup on my Lt. Grey Headliner. What is the best way to remove this without spreading it all around? :scared:

My wife did the same thing with her Coke on our headliner.

I used a MF towel dampened with 6:1 Woolite. Gentle rubbing/dabbing and the Coke came right out.

Vinyl ? velour ? cloth ? alcantara ? what type of material is used ??

If you have a steam cleaner available, using one gets soda stains out quickly and easily. If you go the woolite mixture route make sure the solution is really hot. Soda is easier to remove when heated.

In addition to what everyone else said, first try spraying the Woolite/water soulution on a towel then wiping it over the stains to see if you can get by without directly wetting the headliner.

Available at Target/Lowe's.

:werd: The stuff simply rocks. I use it all the time even around the house and on my stained clothes before they go into the laundry.

A product called Kids & Pets available at Target works probably a little bit better on odored areas. It really abolishes the smell.
