Cobra Microfiber towels.....v.s. Others!

Said the Danase towels are better than the viking and mothers, have all three and the danase are considerably softer and plusher, dont know about the cobras. Try one of Danase's PHAT towels and you will see the difference i guarantee it.

my bad, i thought you were referring the cobras to the viking/mothers. in anycase, they ALL serve the same purpose and will do the job. by the way, speaking of PHAT towels... if you haven't tried a monster fluffy, they are the softest, plushest, and the thickest mf towel i have ever felt and own. they are actually two mf towels sewn together and both sides are plush rather than one side having a short nap. i would try the danase phat towel, but my experience has not been good with them...

Thanks all for the reply's!

BTW I was talking about the Yellow GOLD CLASS plush microfiber towel. I just picked up a 5 Pack for $22.00 bucks. That seems like a great price compared to the Cobra.

To Me the gold class feels softer, holds more water, and has satin edges. I like Both....It's just with all the Hype about Cobra.....I was expecting a bit more.

you can also go to autozone and at the end of the aisle on an endcap (for some reason they didn't put them with the rest of the other accessories), you'll find the mothers products. get one of these, they're one of the nicest mf towels you will ever find! :2thumbs:

I've always found BigAl's opinions about microfiber towels to be spot on. I happened to find the Mother's QD mf towel one day and it's one of the best deals out there, considering you get a huge towel (I believe it's 16x24). Not only is it the same towel as the Kmart viking towel, but it's bigger, costs the same, and is a prettier gold color, not some ugly astroturf green.

I'm talking about finding QUALITY Microfiber towels (general use and specific use) for a good price.

How are the one's from Costco? Quality? Price? Brand?

I have dozen's of 'em. They're very cheap. The brand values depending on what Costco happens to get a good deal on that week.

They're not great. They leave lint on glass and they wear very badly. After a few washes they get stained and get hard and brittle.

I tend to buy a dozen, use them on door jams and such and then eventually retire them to household use.

Reasonable tool to have around but definitely not my goto towel.
