Coarsest metal polish?

Stupid me--I didn't think I would be successful so no pics...

Used EO Nevr Dull (sic) Wadding Polish tonight. Took 15 minutes and 3 cotton ball-sized pieces and the tailpipe looks BRAND NEW. As I said, I didn't think I could even put a dent in the corrosion but I can see my reflection in it now.

I think it was originally stainless, so if you will need something much harsher and this is really JV advice, I apologize.

I had thought of this, then remembered: will give some 3m Super Duty RC a shot first before trying the 3m Marine Metal polish. The EO stuff is great for typical buffing but this is really stubborn staining

I tried the 3m Super Duty RC on the pipe, this stuff is just too abrasive for use in detailing paint IMO, It seemed to work fairly well. I see that my biggest problem in polishing this area isn't so much lack of good product, its trying to comfortably access this area. I made some progress by wrapping an old cotton wax bonnet around a ring shape toilet brush and reached towards the exhaust pipe, I spread the RC on the bonnet and scrubbed the pipe. Surely if I had a lift I could use all kinds of methods easily and probably get the pipe in great, great shape. Any way, afterwards, I followed with some Megs All Metal Polish. It looks a little better, half decent now.
