ClearKote goodies...

As I was growing up in Garland, I thought it was neva...neva land too. I'm neva...neva...going to live in this two horse town when I grow up.

Well, as some can attest I haven't grown up yet as I moved back 20 years ago when I began checking real estate prices and determined I didn't want my kids stuck in the DISD. Apologies in advance to you DISD grads.

Ktulu (what does that mean?),

How was the stock of Quik Shine? Quarts or gallons? Prices?

Ktulu is another reference to Metallica.

They had quite a few bottle of QS still. 8 maybe:nixweiss

Just quarts...unless I just looked right over the gallons. 11 bucks a pop. The Van Moose was $14.

when yall applied moose/vanillia wax did you apply it front to back on the top part of the car and up and down on the sides of the car or did you use small circular motion?

Front to back, but I doubt it really matters unless you have something abrasive stuck in your wax pad that scratches the paint. Otherwise, I doubt anyone would be able to tell a difference.

I just ordered my kit of Quik Shine, Vanilla Moose, Moose Wax and the car wash. What applicators did you use? I have a viking foam ones, viper MF ones and probably some other laying around.

I have a PC that I'm gong to use for the first time with Vanilla Moose. I prefer to apply wax by hand (don't know why), so I am curious which applicator would work well.

If I like the stuff, I'll probably take the plunge and become a distributor for the stuff up here.

I've been using Meguiars foam hand applicators with Vanilla Moose and Moose Wax.

Dana

You must not have turned over any of my pads that have "Meguiars" embossed on them!

Yes, Dana, I am sure any decent foam pad will work fine. :p
