Clearcoat detailing....

I am sort of confused ...



I just read an article, on here, that said that using waxes, namely natural ones with Carnauba, really have no effect on cars with a clearcoat...



Is this true?



I have seen posts where I know the car has a clearcoat, most cars do now, and they have used carnauba wax and the car looks amazing...

Absolutely untrue. You will have clear coat failure if not protected.

I guess he was more saying that the great benefits of Carnauba, as far as looks, are lost on a car with a clearcoat vs. one without...
