Clear Bra advice needed

Working on car with clear bra on it...

Tape it off at edges and leave it alone, or gently polish and lsp, being careful of edges?
 
Ron I tape off all the edges and try a finishing polish on them if it has swirls. If not i just leave them be and apply a sealant on them.
 
There's a special polish for clear bras, you spray it on and wipe it off just like lysol on wood. There's a brand called plexus, I just can't remember the brand I used to use
 
Ron I always tape the edge, only problem is it's really hard to remove the tape res really that is that close to the clear bra line. I found IPA dabbing is easiest way. If you scrub youll scratch the car for sure. If you dont tape. Use IPA on a q-tip to disolve and residue on the line. It looks really bad if you leave it white. Also if the bra's been there for any extended perieod I notice that the edge tends to get dirty or stained. If you use straight IPA on that edge you can get the build up off of it and it looks much better in the finish product.
