Cleaning the inside/backside of rims?

Yeah, I only use the EZ Brush on wheels that I'm not too concerned about, ceertainly not on cars like the S8. Just too coarse, but I don't really think it's gonna be a problem for most people.

I use my Oxo Wheel Brush on the outside of the wheel. It's softer. I use the EZ Brush on the inside - the hard to reach part.

Yeah, that's what I figured everyone does. It's still *way* too coarse for even the back/inside of the wheels on my "good" cars. I guess I'm sorta extreme about the whole thing :o
 
Make us two Accumulator, I've never owned a car before the Audi with such "sensitive" wheels. I use a "semi retired" sheepskin mitt on them :up

Yeah, the S8 wheels got damaged before I even took delivery, and with the price they gave me (and the way they handled my trade-ins) I didn't think it would be right to call them on it. I'll probably mount snows on the OE wheels and get a fresh (and hopefully undamaged) set for the nice weather...even though I plan to trade it due to the "deer incident". I just finished washing it (new record, under 3 hours!) and the flaws on the wheels drive me nuts.

Keep us posted what's going to replace the S8, IIRC you dislike the new A8L. Anything out there currently of interest to you?

Bill D- Given that Stoddard Imports has earned my business for life and they only handle Porsche/Audi, I'm either gonna get the next S8 (if I can stand the stuff I don't like about the new generation) or a Cayenne Turbo (if I *cannot* stand the new S8). I sorta hoped Stoddard would get a Bentley franchise when VW/Porsche/Audi bought Bentley, but it doesn't look likely :( and there's no way I'm gonna break in a new dealership with regard to my standards, especially not with something as expensive as a Bentley.
