Cleaning the body lines, panel gaps after polishing?

I feel its a weak spot that takes a lot of time to clean up correctly.

IPA and a q-tip or short bristle brush. Problem there is if the brush hits the paint, I see marring.

I like to power wash, but you have to be careful around bad repaints, you'll blow the paint right off.

Taping? 2h, takes a lot of time and still you get residue in the cracks as the polished forces it under the tape

Any other solutions?

+1 on the power wash. For certain areas - around badges, trim, etc - I use APC with a Swissvax Detail Brush for leftovers from previous detail. Startegic use of tape saves this after you've started.

We use steam, works very quickly, and removes everything without marring. For those who use brushes(we used too) spray a little QD on before brushing, reduces potential marring.

Go buy a couple pink erasers. You can cut them with a razor blade to fit any crack or crevice. One swipe and the old polish is gone.

Two issues going on here. First if it's already done. Soak them down in Glass cleaner (yes it has a 1000 usues) and then re-powerwash it all out. But first thing you should be doing is better prep work so you don't have these issues to begin with. You can easily tape off all the gaps put towels over the wiperblades and cowel. A few minutes of better prep work at the beginning will save you and hour or more on the back side of clean up.
