cleaning headliner

I bought a used car and noticed that the headliner has some stains (most likely coffee). What is the best method to clean these ugly stains?

Once you start playing with the old one, it will never be the same.



Spend the money, get a new one.

i'd be hesitant to jump right up and buy a new one because i have had great success cleaning headliners with APC+. just be careful of the APC+ falling from the headliner. dont look up while spraying and dont inhale.

i've been cleaning a few headliners and it is impossible to breathe while spraying. i highly recommend standing outside of the car and spraying up. this may have been obvious to most, but i was a moron. APC+ is not a very pleasant mouthwash. once again this should have been obvious to anyone who isn't me.:bounce

it can't hurt to try. if it doesn't come clean or you mess it up somehow, then look into buying a new one.

you don't want to get headliners too wet. I recommend using just the foam from a carpet cleaner or getting a foaming carpet cleaner.
