Cleaning Drying towels?

Just getting into the hard core detail world, do you guys wash your drying towels, mits and microfiber after each time you use them or do you just throw the drying towels into the dryer or hang them up. Secon question is what kind of detergent do you use when you wash them? Thanks guys.

I wash my MF's separately using warm or hot water with two rinse cycles using Micro-Restore detergent. I also add a little distilled white vinegar to the final rinse cycle. Do not use any bleach or fabric softener (sheets or liquid), if you have some that are really bad you can add some APC in the wash cycle or presoak them in a bucket overnight. I dry on low heat and remove when they are still just slightly damp to help prevent static cling.

I don't wash my grungy MF's (the ones used for wheels, wells, door jambs, etc.) with my good (paint and glass) MF's. Those I'll soak in a bucket of Dawn or APC and rinse well before tossing them in the washer. If they are really bad I just toss them out (buy some cheap MF's at Sams Club or Costco for this).

My sheepskin mitts usually just come clean by hand washing with my car wash soap or some Dawn and then I hang them up to dry.
