Cleaning Cayenne Carpets

Called by my friends at the local Porsche dealer to clean up just the interior of a POrsche Cayenne.

Filthy carpets, food spilled, coffee and baby formula...least that's what it looked like :nixweiss

Used my steamer, 303 carpet cleaner and also my extractor. On the leather I used Leathermaster's Strong Cleaner and then dressed with Optimums Protectant Plus.

Some blue jean stains on the leather seats would not come off completly but faded up pretty good.

Passenger rear BEFORE

Passenger rear AFTER (I apologize for the different angle)

Driver side front BEFORE

Driver side AFTER

Now two more AFTER's

Thanks,

Anthony

Looks just about good as new.

What're your thoughts on Optimum protectant as a leather dressing? Did it soften the leather much or change the feel?

Nicely done as usual, Anthony!

What brand/model extractor are you using? Just curious since I'm still in the market... I'll probably go with the Aztec at this point, unless I find a better deal on something else....

Awesome job. It looks like it just rolled of the lot. This kind of transformation justifies the value of a steamer and exractor.

Thank you... The Opt Pro+ is a very nice, simple and easy to use dressing. Nice on leather as well as vinyl AND exterior molding as well. It is more of a leather protectant first, conditioner second.

If you have some really dried out leather then a product like Leatherique would be more appropriate. Then maintenance would be the Opt. Pro+. It does have UV absorbers in it and I like it because it doesn't leave a greasy, glossy finish behind....very matte looking.

Thank you :)

I am using one I bought from TOL but I don't think they are carrying that model anymore.....I think it was called the Century 400 Spot plus. A cold water extractor which works great for a mobile situation.

I have heard good things about the Aztec now that thye have improved the pumps and heating units.

Ah, I think I remember seeing that Century unit. A little larger than what I'm looking for, but the more I read about them, I agree with your assessment of the Aztec.
