I was wondering if anyone could what the results were from last years wax test from thewaxtest.com Did they like Zaino alot. How were the rating from sealants to carnuba's. Which did they rank higher.
I've received well over 100 e-mails in less than a week about the site...despite my best intentions to make everything clear to everyone, no one reads my posts... Sorry, just a little vent/rant.
Our site is down due to the transition over to Roadfly's servers. We've also been trying to redesign the site so that the info is in databases vs. HTML format. This will make updates much easier. Further, we've been trying to get rolling on Round 2, but the weather hasn't been super helpful...
Anyway, I'd love to publish the site ASAP, but it seems like everything is working against my favor. Soon! Soon, I'll have everything up and running again.
Sorry for the rant...hopefully people will stop flooding me with e-mails about the test.
I had the pleasure of detailing this beautiful NXS. I've had it for a couple days and had a blast detailing it. From a distance the car didn't look bad at all but once you got direct sunlight on it, it was pretty swirled up and was in desperate need of a good claying too as it felt like sandpaper in some areas. I clayed the car and then I started polishing with Menzerna SIP on an orange LC pad. After the initial polishing, I hit it again with 106FF on a white LC pad to bring the paint up to a high gloss. After that the car was washed again and I then applied a coat of DWG and then a coat of UPGP. I let that cure over night and then did another coat of DWG and another coat of UPGP and let it cure overnight again. The next day I wiped the car down with Zaino Z-8 and on the tires I used Zaino Z-16. When all was done, the car felt smoother than glass and I saw no swirls when back in the sun. So, here are some of the shots.
Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words! Also Todd is correct, that orange is a rare color for the nsx. There's been a lot of mods done to the car and it look 100x more amazing now. Thanks again!
Imola is such a great color on the NSX. Nice work making her look as good as she should always have been looking. The difference after is huge and she now looks better than new.
