Hi all. I noticed that my BMW clear coated wheels have some baked on break dust (black specs in the corners). I tried P21S wheel cleaner and it did a good job but it doesn't get rid of that. I think I have to use a more aggressive product. Any suggestions on a product that is gentile enough on clear coated wheels yet will take off baked on break dust? I gather that it will probably in a cream form of some sort that i rub into the wheel. Cheers!

P21S also has a gel cleaner I believe, that is 50% stronger than the spray... try this maybe? Everyone says that have great wheel cleaning products.

I did some wheels which were really neglected today. Simple Green for one minute, then toothbrush agitation, rinse, and then Clay Magic. Most of the stains came off. Then I sealed the wheels. A couple of more times, and I think they will be perfect. Just too tired after polishing with #9 and and applying #20 and doing trim and glass today. Old neglected car. But try the clay route. Cheap and safe. Just use some old clay that you were ready to throw out after using it on paint. Works great!:xyxthumbs

I found Mother's Spray Wheel Cleaner to do a great

job on brake dust. The Clear Coat safe yellow bottle

is the one you want.
