Clay Bar Container

What do you keep your clay bar in to keep it fresh and how long should you use it before disgarding it.
 
Any glass jar will do. Make sure that the clay bar remains moist. You can spray a little quick detailer in the jar and close it tight.
 
Yeah an empty wax jar or a cheap ziploc should do the trick. Or you can go out and but some small plastic containers but why bother when the alternatives cost close to nothing?
 
Thats is exactly what I use. You can either use a soap dish (dollar store) or one of those Glad plastic containers.
 
i made the mistake of using the Autozone bag because i didn't have a ziplock baggie for my first claybar.



It sat on the red logo on the bag for a couple weeks. . .
 
I put my used clay bar in a zip lock bag, spray lubricant in the bag then put closed bag in a soap dish. Works great.
 
With the Clay Magic clay bar I usually just spray some QD on it, wrap it with a plastic bag, twist the top and put it back in the box with the spray bottle.
