Chrycler, X5, Tbird etc...

Polished this one about 3 months ago, so today I washed it, clayed it and sealed it with CG's extreme top coat & and topped it off with FK1's FX100. Interior was vacuumed, steamed and protected with FK1 #108. Tires received 2 coats of TOL's Grape dressing.

I did this 2 weeks ago I think when I detailed their Lexus suv. Car is fairly new, and in good shape.

Great details,as ever.What is your method for using FX100,do you spray onto the paint and work in until clear,or do you spray product onto a towel and work in?

This time I just sprayed the panels as I was going around the car. Sometimes I do spray it on the towel. If I have time I use the pc and a finishing pad on speed 3 - I spray the pad as I go.

Just being honest PLEASE NO DISRESPECT.

On your past work the vehicles looked GREAT but not these the tires look sloopy and runny the tip on the chrysler was NOT cleaned as it appears in your pictures.

Newagain - none taken. I aggree with the tip, but not the tires. I spray my grape dressing on and it looks fantastic in person. I like them shiny. I am not sure what you are seeing.



The tip: while it is not an excuse, on this particular car, this is what I skipped on. I know it isn't very autopian, but I can only do so much for what he pays. He isn't cheap, but he wants to pay around $120.00 - that is 3 hours of my time. I put on 2 coats of wax and do many extras, because that is who I am. Yet I know that I should have cleaned it anyways. My reasoning? you can't see the tip standing up. I took the picture 12" off the ground.



So now you know more about me than I know about you.
 
Both look very good....and I will admit on occasion, I have forgotten the exhaust tips as well, or maybe some trim under the bumpers. None of us are perfect. :nixweiss



The finished shot of the X5 really shows off how wet you got the paint to look. :)
