chrome or silver alloy?

There are some chrome wheels I like if they are not too overstated. A good example would be something like the stock Corvette chrome wheels. However most of them remind me too much of the rice-boy coffee can muffler crowd. I prefer painted alloy most of the time, especially on a sedan like yours.

D*mn. Now the wheel gap looks enormous after looking at the last pic!

I think that second one is too low though. I do have to drive over speed bumps and large snowfalls here...and my driveway has a relatively steep approach.

Any idea how many inches of drop that pic represents?
 
I'm guessing btw 2 and 3 inches :nixweiss I can certainly understand why you would hesitate to lower your car given your situation. Best of luck, whatever you decide. :up
