Choosing my first rotary buffer?

I have the Makita 9227C and use it exclusively for my first correction stage, and the 2nd stage to complete the correction/final finishing.

I might use my Flex 3401VRG with the cut down backing plate and 5.5" pads to jewel a finish occasionally, and only use my Meguiars G110 V2, for really tight areas, that I am not in a hurry to do, as the Makita will always finish quicker for me.

Good Luck with your research !

Very rarely, even on tight cars, have I needed to use anything smaller than the Makita 9227c. I have used the Metabo and own the Mini Flex, and just prefer the 'feel' of the Makita.

+ 2 for Makita :money: Be sure and get some 3 or 4" pads and a 2.75" Backing Plate for those tight spots :-B

One word MAKITA 9227c

+1 Makita 9227C with wide selection of BP and Pads

With my detailing business starting to take off, I am starting to think I need to step up my game and move to a rotary. I am saving for a rotary, and am contemplating the new Flex, or going with the old faithful Makita.
