Chemical guys?

My daughter decided to decorate some pumpkins and set them on the hearth. All well and good till one turned to mush and rolled off and slimmed up the carpet. I used CG Sofast Order remover and a little scrubbing, funk gone, JB impressed!

I use Citrus Wash, Leather Cleaner, Leather Conditioner. I got a free bottle of leather cleaner and it worked way better than 3D's LVP Cleaner, which I was currently using, so I bought a gallon of it. The conditioner is OK, I see nothing really special about conditioners. All leather is dead already.

I used VRP and loved it, but I never really paid attention to how long it lasted. It was my favorite product at one time, but I have so much other crap that it'll be awhile before I use anything else.

I also have their wash mat, not that anyone's going to buy that soon, but it works great and is comparably cheap.

and if you have questions their staff are top notch

So they actually answer the phone now? Used to be you would call and it would just go to voice mail and you would never hear back. When you were fortunate enough to get someone in customer disservice they had no idea what they were talking about. If you called back later and someone else answered, they would give you an answer completely different to your question from the person you originally talked to.

I have Lava, but haven't used it yet. I love their soaps: CW&G, Honeydew, Maxi Suds, Glossworks, Citrus Red, and I just ordered some Mr Pink and Sticky Wheel Cleaner. I think Grime Reaper is pretty good also. I love their 4" self centering Hex Logic pads on a DA. Sasquatch towels are great for waterless washes. V7 is pretty nice. Most of their popular stuff is pretty good I think.

the one thing i don't care for with CG's is they don't answer their damn phone. that alone is enough to not support them, i don't and will not tolerate bad customer service from anyone no matter how good their product(s) are...

Shampoos are nice. The few other products I have used are ok. Too many products with similar descriptions and seems like some pretty high prices for run of the mill stuff.

Glad I am not the only one. When you do get them on the phone they are arrogant.

Not sure when you guys call, but I always get a human who knows their stuff and makes good recommendations/sales. They can be a bit "earthy" and let you know in no uncertain terms when you are way wrong but overall i would do business with them anytime. If you call more than once, you might hear a different person's suggestions based on how you describe the issues and needs.

It's not much better here in Australia. No response to emails...shipping takes forever.

I think CG employ their staff based on how unprofessional they are.

You seem to be the exception since numerous others have had similar experiences as mine so will will stick with their customer service is awful and there customer service employees are clueless.

I would like to try their Lava Wax, and the new Black wax. Other than that, nothing really draws me towards their other chemicals.

I have both. Well... a prototype version of Black.

I like to purchase gallon size of car wash shampoo from them. Priced pretty decently, and lasts awhile.

I'm not a detailer by any stretch but I know what I like. CG's Blacklight topped with their Pete's '53 gave me some good results. I wish I had known Black was coming out because I would have waited and bought that instead of the '53. Ah well, I will just wait until it is time for me to strip and reprotect again. Then I will try Black. I'll save the '53 for my wife's truck.

A few gems in a sea of mediocre products.

Dont get there micro fiber wash mitten. the stitching falls part after 2 uses. I told them about the problem and they said im out of luck. great customer service? only tried them cuz they are local.

I had a similar experience when I called about some staining I experienced with GreenClean. Basically said I was doing something wrong and refused to swap it out for something else. I can confidently say nothing on their product line is anything I can't live without.

i have so many of their products

their waxes kick ***

v7

black light

soaps kick ***, theyre the best out in performance and bang for buck imo

good wheel cleaners
