Chemical Guys Store Hours?

You know exactly how everything works here in SoCal. In miles they're not very far away, but add in traffic, a lot of places take 20-30 mins to get to around here.

Let me ask you something. When you go shop at Costco, Walmart, the mall, etc do you call first to see if they're closed? I'm going to guess no because you know what their normal store hours are. If something were to cause the shut down for the day, that's something you have no control over. Those occasions are rare anyway. How would you like it if most retail stores you go to didn't post up a sign with store hours and instead you had to ask someone. For such a basic question, you shouldn't have to ask anyone.

Yes, you are right there is time spent, so that is why it is even more important to call first. No, you do not call Walmart, but that's very bad example, they are not anywhere near Walmart when it comes to number of employees that are available on call to keep store open all the time. That is the case with every "small" business everywhere. Many of them don't even have the Web site! They post business hours on their door. How do you find business hours for those before you are in front of the door? Same way you would before Web laziness, pick up a Yellow Book, find number, call and check.

Yeah, you're right about it being just a small office and maybe they want to leave early on some days, but if that's the case, then this statement shouldn't be on the front of their homepage:

"ChemicalGuys.com - your online factory direct wholesale warehouse for professional car wash chemicals & auto detailing supplies is open to the public & car care enthusiasts.

Please notice it says "online". Not "retail store".

Your customers depend on you and put their trust in you so how can they trust the business if they only worked whenever they felt like it.

There is a big difference between "working whenever they felt like it" and "not being in office". As they take orders, ship orders, and answer phone calls they are obviously fulfilling trust. They can be in their warehouse at that time though, they dont have to be in the office to be working.

And you know what is funny? Some people are here getting worked up over that while forgetting it is really nothing considering they provide decent products for decent price and do have great customer service. As I said, who cares what Web site says as long as bottom line of what matters is kept? Who needs extremely urgent life or death detailing question answered at 3am PST anyway? This is all a non-issue getting blown out of proportions.

Seems like a lot of arguing here thats going to get no one anywhere. I have my opinions you have yours. I respect your opinion, if you respect mine, fine, if not then fine. But to keep arguing about this is a waste.

Now that Ive got an email I can inform them about the pads. Dont feel like calling about it. Paul did say I could send them back, but not worth the trouble. However, he could have some upset customers, so better off fixing it.

OK, you are confusing me here, you obviously talked to him and he offered to take care of you but you decided it is not worth the trouble. So what you need to inform him about the pads that you did not already? :nixweiss

Zoran, I've seen some of your previous arguments. I'll give you credit that you bring up valid points (whether I agree or disagree is a different story), but sometimes it seems like you just want to argue when there's no point to.

For every one of your arguments I could keep going responding with a valid response, and you would just twist the words around with another clever response, so what's the point?

You say people are getting all worked up over this, but if you look back and read it was you in your first response to this thread that got all worked up about this. So look in the mirror next time before you start putting the blame on other people.

That LC DOES make a 4" LC CCS pad.

Got it. Let me know if that e-mail address doesn't end up working for you. I will not mind asking for you correct address or relaying the message for you.

BlackElantraGT, I dunno what to tell you. "Truth" is unfortunately often defined by perception of person and not by facts. Just like you are saying something to me I could point to that same mirror and ask who decides what is a valid argument and what is word twisting? Who decides that? Only you? It can not happen that it is other way around, that your points are not valid and that it is you twisting words to suit stand taken?

I would also like to ask that same mirror is the one that casts the stone of "personality" into discussion doing it because it is a fact or because they can not say anything to valid points on the actual subject? Is first person that reaches for such changing of focus automatically correct in such labeling just because they are first ones to reach for it?

Answers to that is completely different discussion that is fruitless so I will leave it at that. I will leave actual subject where it is too, I said what I had to say, even if me not sitting in the corner quiet when others bring up something unfounded and illogical results in labeling. Can't please everyone in this world and if you try you might find you are not your own.
