Chemical Guys..new toys...

Hey orngez, you forgot CG Blitz!

If you haven't tried it yet, then add this to your list of CG products to try out. And Revive is another nice product.

I really like ONE. It also works great on wheels too. The other day I did the front half of a hood with ONE and the back half already had DG 105 & AW on it. When I flooded the back half where the DG products were used, much of the excess water quickly ran off and the rest beaded up. The front half of the hood where I used ONE acted much differently. The water immediately flattened out and a thin film of water remained in tact for a bit before it sheeted off. ONE is definitely an interesting product and something I'll be keeping on hand. Good stuff!

don't forget that because ONE does contain a clay it will strip wax and or sealant as told to me by Mark @ CG's

but this stuff is a must have item & I love it as do a lot of others

their XXX paste wax is a great product also it makes metallics shimmer in the sun

Diamond Cut 1500 and Pro Polish are awesome also

the Pro Detailer w/ nuba is a great waterless wash product that leaves some protection also and I'm more and more liking the VRP also

let us know how the Jet Seal works out and try and post pics.

Jet seal works outstanding, I love it on metallics, and I can't say enough about "ONE", its like one of those "Oh boy, what else can I use this on?" products! I love it!

:thx

To me a full CG lineup would include

1.Citrus Wash n gloss...best soap out there...imo

2.VRP for tires

3.Extreme Gel for hard plastic and trim (they market it as a tire gel and you can use it for that too...just would get really expensive and the vrp works awesome on tires with no sling)

4. Silk Shine for interiors

(products 2-4 are interchangeable on certain surfaces, i just find that they work best on what i recommended them on, if you want to consolidate to one product just go with vrp)

5. Wet mirror finish or revive glaze - these products are not required but are great for the glazing step if you choose to do it

6. M-seal for sealant, Petes53 for carnauba

7. They have a product called "ONE" that is not listed on the website...it will be the last waterless wash/qd you will every buy....it cleans, lightly polishes as it has a clay in it, and leave behind a glossing agent that looks just as good as a fresh coat of wax....as a waterless wash it encapsulates dirt and leave a swirl and marr free surface...i rave about this product and everyone who tries it loves it...i sell little misting bottles of it to many of my clients as a "touch up/bird bomb" spray...

Thanks for this info!! This is great!

I love Jetseal 109 and have been using it for a few weeks now.

I was preparing a car for a show last Saturday and finished it with Jetseal.

The results left the owner speechless..!

so to edit my top cg product list...i forgot about polishes :)

like mentioned earlier diamondcut 1.5 and pro-polish are the one two punch of the cg polish lineup.....also just used jetseal109 today...amazing stuff...the slickness is AMAZING and wipes on easier than zaino and wipes off even easier...i did one THIN bead around the middle circumference of my white edge pad and it was more than enough sealant to do half of the avalanche i detailed today using a pc...wiping off was easier than anything else i have used....the towel never grabbed at the polish...it just wiped off super slick...

here are the photos of the two cars i did a quickie detail on with jetseal109 and wmf...polished with diamont cut 1.5 and pro-polish...

I cannot wait for this JetSeal stuff to hit the market. I just got my gallon of Citrus Wash, looking forward to try it.

Since you only need half an ounce for every two gallons of water, well, then this gallon should go a very long way!

that the great thing about most of cg's products...super concentrated...the citrus wash n gloss is something i am trying to switch everyone over too...eliminates the need for a bug and tar remover, wheel cleaner, and the glossing agent in it leaves a nice shine that needs no lsp...and it is also a great slick surface to start claying or polishing on...the jetseal109 you can probably get if you just call and ask...same with "ONE"....by far my most used spray bottle...

I have Wet mirror-finish, jet seal 109, 50/50 and Petes53. I love the wet mirror-finish either as a stand alone or topped with 50/50 or Petes53.Jet seal is excellent too.

I think CG's stuff performs as advertised and thier customer service is excellent as well.

My next purchase will be citrus wash & one.

I used the citrus wash the other day in my pressure washer foam gun..I mixed 1/2 oz to 32 oz of water and filled my gun's tank..it foamed like mad...and really cleaned the paint...I actually never even used a mit on it..just the foam and let it sit a few and rinsed off...I did this after a polishing to get residual polish off the paint and from in the seams...it did a great job...

Sounds like a good idea Al. I was gonna order some citris wash and gloss for this purpose mainly and before the prep also. I know to wash off this menzerna afterbirth is tough with reg car wash soap and I will order some of this citris wash to use.

Sounds like great stuff! Does it leave it squeaky clean?

yes...it comes very clean...it did disolve the polish residue...even in the rubbers around the windows..I did not tape this time...the stronger the mix the better it cleans....I like it

Look great! What pads and machine did you use? I forgot I had some of the diamond 1500, and used it last night on a silver hood w/ the edge blue wool pad and followed it w/ OP and edge blue foam pad. I then topped it w/ WMF and edge white pad. It turned out very clear and really slick. I can only imagine what jet seal on top of WMF would do.

the blue car is a chevy avalanche with a rock hard clear so my edge orange and yellow pad got the call of duty...the burgundy colored car was a nissan murano with really soft clear so a green pad worked just fine...finishing polish was pro-polish with edge blue pad...wmf and jet seal were both applied with white pad...
