My test bed for these will be a 2004 dark blue avalanche...results to follow tomorrow...

I like it when a manufacturer gives you a wide array of products to pick from, but in the case of CG I think it's almost overwhelming and confusing.

I didn't understand the difference between F-Seal and M-Seal, and now we have Jet Seal? I'm still trying to figure out what Wet Mirror is and where it fits in.

I used Jetseal on two bikes last month, went back yesterday to see them........HOLY CRAP!!!! The pearls and flakes just jump out at you......it honestly rivals my Z5!!!!

the m-seal is their "pure" sealant...go with that as your sealant (or wait for my findings on jet seal ;) )...the wmf should be treated like a stand alone glaze...what i like about wmf is it bonds to the paint and wipes clean like a sealant...i find glazes like rmg to leave behind an oily gloss....dont get me wrong...i love rmg but i think wmf is going to quickly replace it...you will be seeing mint green moose pretty soon...haha

Ya'll looked at 3M lately - jeez, I gave up trying to figure them out - sticking to Presta and Optimum.

Yah, CG does carry waay too many products. I cant keep up with it no more.

My GoTo products are Menz,OPT and Zaino.

jetseal is not sold mainstream yet...should be on the market soon....

In that case I have to drop by their place on my way back from work today and pester them for some :D

Anything you know about it that you can share at this moment?

Stand alone glaze? Meaning ...? No topping with sealant and/or wax? Could you please clarify it for easily confused guy like me? :)

wmf does not have to be topped with anything...although i would still recommend it.....also its not like rmg and i dont think it would work to well mixing it with other products...

I definitely didn't have in mind mixing it like RMG, but I am definitely interested in topping it.

Its true, they have many products... but keep in mind they also produce many products for other companies as well. I assume they simply re-release a lot of the stuff under their own brands. Furthermore, as previously said, many of their products are terrific!

Anyone know who they manufacture for?

First post here after lurking for awhile..

I was getting ready to place an order with CG and wanted to know if there is anyone out there that uses their products exclusively as far as polish/glaze/sealant and wax.. if so, what do you use and what order do you apply them. There is so much stuff out there that I am confused as to what the proper order of applying their products would be.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

To me a full CG lineup would include

1.Citrus Wash n gloss...best soap out there...imo

2.VRP for tires

3.Extreme Gel for hard plastic and trim (they market it as a tire gel and you can use it for that too...just would get really expensive and the vrp works awesome on tires with no sling)

4. Silk Shine for interiors

(products 2-4 are interchangeable on certain surfaces, i just find that they work best on what i recommended them on, if you want to consolidate to one product just go with vrp)

5. Wet mirror finish or revive glaze - these products are not required but are great for the glazing step if you choose to do it

6. M-seal for sealant, Petes53 for carnauba

7. They have a product called "ONE" that is not listed on the website...it will be the last waterless wash/qd you will every buy....it cleans, lightly polishes as it has a clay in it, and leave behind a glossing agent that looks just as good as a fresh coat of wax....as a waterless wash it encapsulates dirt and leave a swirl and marr free surface...i rave about this product and everyone who tries it loves it...i sell little misting bottles of it to many of my clients as a "touch up/bird bomb" spray...
