[quote name='BlackElantraGT'] if you're a bible-reading, church-going Christian with very high morals and value, his personality might not be your cup of tea. QUOTE]

I don't see your point, your logic is poor and your bald implicative assertion is even worse. Do people that "find his personality to be their cup of tea" have low morals and values, or just a normal level of morals and values? Do "high morals and values" exclusively coincide with christianity?

Sorry for derailing the thread, but that comment is hilarious and nonsensical at the same time!

It's not the best analogy, but I think most people get what I'm trying to say. I'm not a religious person nor am I a Christian, but I do respect people's views and opinions, even if I don't necessarily believe the same way.

Do I have a problem with Paul? No, he's just like most of my guy friends and cool in my book. If I brought my 80 year old father-in-law with me, do you think he'd find Paul to be a cool guy? Probably not, because he's not the type of person that can stand swearing or any type of non-professional conversation. Does that mean there's something wrong with either Paul or my father-in-law? No, they're just two different people. And being the business man he is, most likely if I did bring my father-in-law with me he'd probably act a bit different and be on his best behavior.

If you and your friends talk the way most guys talk when they're together without any females around, would you want your mother or a little kid around listening to your raunchy conversations? I don't think so. Nothing wrong with being that way, there's just a time and a place. I think for Paul, because he treats everyone like a buddy, he might forget the business side of things for a moment and not realize that not everyone can be your friend.

Well, I guess i am part of the minority as well, cause

I cant really say I was impressed with their CS either.

I placed an order 2 sundays ago. I got an order confirmation,

but I could not track the order almost an entire week; and even then, I still had

to call someone over there to give me the trackin number. Order finally

came the following sat, but it was wrong. Ive called and left a message

about the mistake with the order and I have yet to hear anything

from anyone about it.

Quite a few of you guys seem very happy with their CS. I just wish I

could say the same.

Easy there, I don't think GT meant to be as offensive as your taking his post... though I only briefly skimmed his original post, I can understand his point. Paul is a potty mouthed male shovanist... much like all men lol... so I could understand how some, a priest for example, could find his personality "not their cup of tea." Mind you, neither myself or GT discredited Paul in any other way... and in fact we both complimented the guy. So yea, maybe GT's analogy was a bit rough around the edges, I don't believe he meant any harm.

usdm, how did they ship the product? If it was USPS, I've found their tracking #'s to be worthless. They should call it delivery confirmation # because that's all it's useful for.

Since I am in SoCal, I've never placed an order over the phone or on the internet so I can't really say how well their customer service is in that regards. Since a few of you are experiencing some problems, my guess would be that someone went on (vacation, sick leave, fired), 4th of July holiday, the recent flux of interest in their products, or all of the above could be contributing to these problems. AutoGeek had a similar problem this past Xmas season.

They seem like good guys. CG isn't going to just disappear tomorrow. So I would take comfort in knowing that even though your orders might have been screwed up, they're most likely not going to run away with your money.

Ive only placed one order, my experience could have been better.

I placed an order on the 29th and didnt get it until the 7th. Im in VA, so across the country from CG, but it shouldnt have taken that long to get to me. The guy even said he didnt know why it was taking so long. The only email I got was a confirmation, no tracking # or anything. Tried to check my status on the site and it wasnt updated until the 3rd or 4th. But it had shipped out on the 1st or 2nd. So I had to call up and get the tracking #. Not a HUGE deal, but AG is a lot better about sending you tracking #'s and confirmations via email.

In this order I had ordered 4" LC CCS pads. When I got them they were actually 3.5", not 4". I placed an order with AG on the same day for a 4" CCS pad and it measured a true 4". Called up about it and they said they didnt even see 4" CCS in their catalog, so that was a little weird.

However, I did talk to Paul on the phone a couple times and he was a real nice guy. He didnt make me feel like I was bugging him, although I probably was haha.

On a side note, can someone give me Pauls email, I gotta tell him something.

D&D,

Based on yours and usdm's comments, I could be wrong but I'm guessing your packages were delivered via USPS since you both received Sat. delivery. I'm not familiar with Fedex since most places I shop with don't deliver via Fedex, but I know UPS charges extra for Sat. delivery so that is why my guess is USPS.

Like I mentioned to usdm, USPS's tracking # doesn't really provide you much info and can't really be used to track your packages. I ship through USPS often enough to see that the tracking # does not get updated for days, sometimes not until the customer actually receives the package.

As far as your package taking long, everything sounds about right. June 29th is a Friday, so even though USPS does Sat. pickup and delivery, if it was sent via parcel post, it won't get to one of their hubs or distribution centers until Mon. So your package didn't ship until Jul 2, which is a Mon. Also add in one day for Jul 4 (they are closed). So a delivery date for Jul 7 sounds correct since you're all the way on the other side of the country.

I usually order from AG, but because they're in FL and I'm in CA, their shipments ALWAYS takes 5 business days since they ship via UPS. At least UPS is predictable and has a delivery date guarantee. When I ship via USPS Parcel Post, sometimes it gets to the east coast in 3 days. Other times, it's taken the full 9 days, if not more. As an eBay seller, I've always avoided shipping via UPS, but the more I ship through them, the more I'd rather just pay that extra cost for the convenience of both me and the customer.

Anyway, I hope you all get your issues resolved.

The email that I have showing on Paul's business card is [email protected]

I have to agree with you. I placed a phone order with CG on Mon Jul 02, 2007. My CC was changed the same day. But, now I can't get any response from CG. I've called 3 times. I've emailed 3 times trying to get a status on my order. Nothing. No callbacks. No replies to emails.

Given that a week has passed and I can't even get a reply, let alone have not recieved my order is making me question wether I want to order from them again.

While I don't expect overnight delivery, I *DO* expect a callback/ reply from customer service when a company has received payment for a service or product.

First impressions leave lasting impressions. So far, I am less than impressed.

:grrr

Just FYI. Your card should NOT be charged until the product is shipped.
