I was looking around the web and look what I saw.

PS: I love Poorboys. Period, and don't care who makes Steve's products.

That was interesting link. The expensive compounds said they don't contain sillicone but the cheaper brown/green/pink ones didn't clarify that. Maybe those swirl removers "DO" have silicone fillers afterall. One reason why I like Menzerna, I know there aren't fillers.

Repackaging chemicals in the detailing industry is COMMON, pointing that out isn't an attack. Your jumping all over those that believe PoorBoys might be repackaging products claiming they have no proof, but by your own admission you have no proof the contrary either.

Suggesting the products aren't similar isn't really accurate either, there are reports from people who have used both products that they can't tell the difference between them. If you can't accept the fact it's possible Poorboys might be repackaged ChemicalGuys that's your problem, but don't go around claiming they aren't when you have no proof either.

I give up. I always thought innocence untill proven guilty was the law. Why does someone have to prove it isn't repackaged product when the owner states it's his own formulations? The only ones that know for sure is Poorboys and CG. If neither come forward and say it is then let's just leave it as two seperate products that are similar and let the individual in here make their choices on what to use. Are we going to witch hunt every product that MIGHT be repackaged product? I thought Autopians were above this kind of petty thinking.

PS- Brad in your post you say posters have claimed it MIGHT be repackaged products. There are posters on here that have stated as fact that it is repackaged CG product (no proof submitted though). Big difference. I don't even think it's worthy discussion to make ASSUMPTIONS about what might be repackaged product. Lets' discuss the products on their own merits. I bet I can do a blind test with 4 or 5 different polishes and people couldn't tell the difference. There isn't that much voodo in many of these products.:D

That's the dumbest pre-school logic I've heard in a while. If a bear drops a deuce in the woods does it stink? It does? How do you know, you're not there to sniff it? It doesn't? How do you know, you're not their to sniff it again either.

Making accusations against a company or a person without evidence (e.g. Poorboys repackages products) can get you in hot water legally in the real world.

But I do agree with you :p in that generically (indirectly) pointing out the obvious that repackaging products is common (that in and of itself is not an attack on Poorboys as Lee states). BUT, we cannot therefore directly infer that Poorboys does it, without proof.

The links we are seeing, especially the compound page one from tdekany are very interesting. Wish we had a resident chemist here to examine them to see their makeup.

Holy cow, I just turn on my computer and I couldnt belive it at page 16. Last time(2-4 hrs ago) was only page 13.

I keep waiting for one of you guys to say Na-Nana-Na-Na any minute now.

While I personally dont doubt that Chemical Guys labels for Poorboys, I have to wonder why this thread is still going on page, after page, after page. I have noticed some threads that question or criticize products disappear or get edited and locked in very quick fashion. Other threads that are very unflattering to some products or vendors appear to be tolerated and encouraged.
