Kids have been ringing bells offering to wash cars. My neighbor thought he got a price....

But this is what he got. It was left wet and when it dried........




Wonder what hot new product they were using.

Oh they were just trying to make a little money just like any other kid with a lemonaide stand. I thought these were grown ups you were talking about.

In that case, it's your neighbors fault!

You should go over there and tell them what a terrible job they are doing. Tell them they are stupid too!

Not my style...............I just thought the end result was funny enough to share. When they left the car was wet and must have looked better. BTW, they could not reach the roof or the middle of the hood so it looks so funny.

I've paid full price or even double to NOT have my cars washed in instances like that or a school, car club or performance shop fund raisers haha.

Hey I have an the Klasse twins and some micro fiber towels, I'm a detailer.
 
It looks like they used mud as a dressing for those tires.

I have nieces and nephews that do fundraising car washes all the time for their traveling soccer teams. I always show up and just give them money and don't bother with a wash. I've seen kids drop their sponge on the ground and just continue to wash the car after picking it up. Saw another wash the tires, wheels and body with the same sponge, in that exact order. :shivers:

What, you've never done that!? :rofl In all honestly, atleast they weren't out causing trouble, well aside from the bad washing. There was a guy a couple months ago knocked on my door wanting to wash my car for $5; I politely refused...
 
Somebody wants to wash my truck for $5 they can knock themself out :D
On a serious note, I would gladly let a couple young boys wash my cars, but I would be out there showing them how to do it right. The reason that car looks like crap is because nobody has taught them any different. Its a miracle these days that there were 2 kids on one block that wanted to work rather than play video games.

that was my first thought when i heard they were 10....how did they get the roof? guess they didn't lol..thats great

$15..im surprised the neighbor even went for that price

i gotta agree with you on this one..didn't read this post after i made my first post

but now i got to thinking that if i taught them how to do it they would just undercut my business :)
