OMG....that car is sick! Great job on cleaning up the swirls.

and the engine.......wow.......nothing like good old detroit muscle.

Beautiful turnaround, that is way more than "50%" job! More like 90%! And only a 502? Why don't you put a real engine in there!!!

;)

Thanks for the compliments on the car. I've put more time and money in it than I sometimes care to admit, but it's well worth it every time I fire her up.

Lightman did an awesome job and I'm very grateful he helped me out. Also glad everyone here is giving him the big :2thumbs: .

Here's a couple shots of the interior. I just use Meguiar's quick interior mist to wipe down the seats. Is there something else I should be using? I like a natural or matte finish, don't want anything too shiny or greasy looking.

Car looks great!

The only thing that you may like to try on the interior that I can think of is 303 or Poorboy's Natural Look.

I like NL; but it can be a little finicky on *some* surfaces. Works great on hard plastics.

Slick you should have asked me and I could have demo'ed a couple options for you :) 303 is great stuff but probably a little too shiny. i'll shoot you an email.

What switch is for the line loc?

and what is the other switch for?

I have 4 switches in the car, 2 in the console and 2 left of the under-dash mounted gauges.

Front line lock is red switch under dash.

Blue switch under dash is for some under-hood lights. Kind of cheesy, but there are 2 red lights hidden under my hood that illuminate the engine. Thought it would be cool if I was showing someone the engine at night.

Have a switch on the console that kills the electric fuel pump and the other is for an extra radiator fan if I ever were to get stuck in traffic. Thinking about removing the extra fan because ever since I switched to an aluminum rad, the car runs cool all day.
