I grew up with some kids whose dads had nice cars (new Viper, an older Countach, a couple F355 Ferrari's) and they would all have them detailed at a this cheap place. It was almost like a status thing... You bring your hot car in and all the highschool kids would act like you were a god.

I use to work with this dude that did the car wash thing during high school, lucky him - I had to farm! anyway, he said some old guy that was a big shot lawyer use to take his Troll's Choice, er Rolls Royce in every week! And I got a kid next door that is so OCD on his 11 year old Civic, he would win an award. Go figure.

This reminds me of waayyy back when I worked as a residential electrician. I was at this house doing some meaningless task and their kids were running around outside. I kid you not, they were climbing up the hood, running across the roof and down the trunk of the jags their parents had. Money was no problem for this guy, in his detached car garage he actually had a "Tucker" car.
