Chat Room?

Since it seems that we can never get very many, (like even two:)), in the chat room at one time, how about a scheduled chat time?
Maybe pick a day, or every day, and set an approximate time to get together.
Keep in mind that there will be quite a avriance in time zones for the people involved. As far as I am concerned, anytime after 8:30 PM CST works best, but I can work around most any schedule.
If it is scheduled from x:00 to x:00, over a period of an hour or two, maybe some can join in at various times. That way, those that have something that keeps them from the starting time might still be able to stop by later.
Hey, I have never been a part of a chat room so I have no idea what works. I just know that the system we have presently isn't working all that well.:)

I appreciate you wanting to make it a more organized occasion. :bigups

The current chat room was just a quickie experiment that was a "freebie" with my new server. Like most things in life, I got what I paid for. If is great for a free chatroom but not up to my standards as something that I wanted to promote just yet.

With all that said, I hope that everyone enjoys the chatroom, I am looking for a really nice chatroom with VB3 integration that I can really stand behind and promote. Until then, have fun with this one.
 
The problem isn't the chat room, it's the chatters. Or rather the lack thereof.
And with that, I have to leave for a while, so I won't be chatting either.:D

9:30 EST Works very well for me usually. Ahh I remember the old days. Approx 16 months from the first time I talked with Poorboy :D
 
I'd like to not just limit it to certain times. Do post when you want to chat, any time in the shoutbox

My suggestion was not to limit chat to certain times, but to have those times be when more people could be expected to show up.
Anytime someone wants to chat, making mention of it in the shoutbox seems like a good idea.
FWIW, my shout count is all the way up to 8 now. :D
