Chart showing paint hardness of different cars?

A few years back someone took the time to create a chart showing the different Makes and models and various cars, the hardness of the clear pertaining to that car, and recommended polishes/pads to use with that particular clear coat. Does anyone have this? I know all cars are different, and each car usually has its own needs, but this chart would still be extremely helpful in giving "ballpark" quotes and finding a good starting spot on paint corrections. A listing of paint density (relative hardness) for auto paint has been attempted many times; however there are so many variables that renders such a list both impractical and unusable.


 


I can appreciate the desire to finesse a 'ball park' estimate; but you need to explain to a potential client it is just that - an estimated cost
