Charlie's Soap All Purpose cleaner

Excellent...It does a damn good job compared to the mainstream detergents and for a fraction of the cost!

Enjoy.

there's no odor to the product at all...that's part of their list of "benefits".

I can say this after using the product for about 1 month: It works as advertised. It does a good job on MF towels. I also have the Micro-Restore product and the Pinnacle equivalent - - I consider these two products to be equivalent. The dedicated MF restore products do offer superior cleaning performance on very dirty MF towels compared to Charlie's. I believe they leave the towels a bit softer, too. I think the dedicated MF products do a very fine job but they are costly, IMO. I typically use them every 4th wash or so unless I have very dirty towels.

The Charlie's soap doesn't appear to clean quite as well but it does a darn good job and at a fraction of the price.

I am using Charlie's on household laundry. It works well and leaves nothing to be desired UNLESS you like the perfumed scent left by many of the mainstream detergents. I use the prescribed amount which is 1 oz. per load of laundry. It cleans very well, clothes are soft, there are no odors, cost/application is LOW. It's suitable for HE and conventional washing machines.

Tom P.- Sounds like our experiences with Charlie's are similar.

Yeah, the Charlie's works well in our HE washer; I'm using if for some of our household laundry instead of the Cheer HE stuff I had been using. Charlie's is more expensive than normal detergents but you use less and you don't have to do so many extra rinse cycles to get all the detergent out.

I use a little softener. With the Charlie's some of my textiles turn out perfectly soft without any, but others don't :nixweiss. It seems like you don't need as much softener with it as with normal detergents.
