CG Review Requests?

Hi all.

I see these mini-reviews are being well received and there have been some requests for other CG products (Synthetic QD, Butterwax (don't have - sorry) and BareBones). I am planning on doing New Look Trim Gel and a Silk follow-up (with 303 and PERL). Any products you'd like to see next?

This is what I'm familiar with:
Synthetic & P40 QD
Hybrid V7
700 Series Polishes
CW&C, CW&G, Glossworkz, & Honey Dew Snow Foam
EZ Creme Glaze
Wet Mirror Finish
BlackLight
JetSeal 109
Diablo, Sticky Gel Citrus Wheel Cleaner
Lightning Fast
Microfiber Detergent

Note - not all are positive.
 
I got the synthetic qd recently and from what I read it's similar to fk 425 have you used fk425 and if so how would you compare them?


On that trim review ur about to do, do u have Uttg? If so can u toss that in there as well.
 
Well you already know I'm interested in the bare bones, but I wouldn't mind seeing reviews on Blacklight and Hybrid.
 
I would actually like to see a comparison on their glazes...

Ez cream
Wet mirror finish
Black light
Glossworkz


I have heard good things about blacklight and Glossworkz but I already have ez cream and WMF and don't knowing its worth the added costs.
 
Blacklight would be good to see as there is some discrepancy as to if its a glaze or a sealant. I cant seem to find a clear answer to this.
 
I'm sort of new to Chemical Guys products but the ones I've tried all perform very well and I would purchase them again.

I've tried;

  • Diablo Wheel Gel
  • Hybrid V7 Optical Gloss Spray Sealant
  • Black Light Hybrid Radiant Finish
  • 5050 Paste Wax
  • New Car Scent Air Freshener

CG's description is gloss enhancer. The low down from a source I trust is that it is really an AIO (cleans, fills slightly and seals). Same for EZ Creme and Wet Mirror Finish, BTW.

I do know it cleaned off freshly applied WMF when I tried to layer it.

By all means - I shouldn't have all the fun. I certainly have no specific qualifications to write reviews. ;)

Quickie on V7: Best smelling QD/Sealant I've used. Because it does both, it is great to follow a more standard sealant in the final wipedown. Melts straight into the paint. Looks great on its own on lighter colors (haven't tried on darker colors yet).
 
I'm looking forward to the NLTG as I have a sample and have never used it after i got some Perl.
