Just purschase these two products together with petes 53 to finish it off with.

sorry for being a bit dumb, but what sort of prep do you guys think i need to do first?

my paint is in A1 condition - no marks or swerls etc and only 1000 miles on the clock.

should i "clean the paint" first or as some website mention - the glaze has a very fine cleaner in it already!

can i just wash and then apply

many thanks.

If you don't have any swirls then I would

Wash

Clay

Glaze

Seal

Wait 24 hours then wash again and apply Pete's 53

Well run your fingers over the paint and see if it has contaminants. I really think you should clay but you may not have to. If the car has not been clayed before I think you should.

I think I'm trying to say...just clay it

Alot of new cars are transported by trains and can be covered in rail dust. So regardless of mileage it wouldn't hurt to spot clay. This way you know the paint is nice and clean!!!

When I talked to Paul on the Jet seal109..I believe he said it sets up in less than a hour and can be topped right after that time.....just like the F-Seal

When I got my truck I did not want it washed or detailed...The manager told me that it has to have a Decontamination wash for rail dust and such...that Ford has a technical service bulletin on it ...They used the Auto Int decon system...I watched them do it...and talked to some of the Prep guys also..

AL

definitely clay first...then ez creme glaze, then jetseal109,have a beer and admire how good jetseal109 looks, then petes53, then enjoy a second beer and gaze at your paint in amazement for 20 minutes....repeat every 3-4 weeks to experience the same detailing nirvana :)

i like the sound of the beers.

but - are you saying you have to repeat the WHOLE thing every 4 weeks? or just the waxing part?

not going to be popular in my house if thats the case .

Where did you get Jetseal 109 from?
