CG CWG question

I used Chemical Guy's Citrus Wash and Gloss for the first time today, and I'm somewhat confused. While it did clean well and smell good, it wasn't very slick when I stuck my hand in the bucket like I get with Gold Class. I did the one capful to four gallons of water like it said, and it didn't feel slick at all. It felt just like regular water. So I added some more (didn't really measure that part out) and it didn't get any more slick. I stopped adding to save the wax. Does this wash ever get slick at the maintenance wash dilution?
 
I have CG CWG. And IMO is is a very good wash for what it is and as it is not really slick like some others it does cling better to the paint than most. For this reason I only use it for stripping off protection. I feel it is a little to aggressive for "normal" washes when used at the proper dilution ratios.
 
I stripped my Fusion today with it, at 1 oz per gallon. It was slick at that ratio. For maintenance washes it's safe at one cap per 4 gallons.

Did you know that a lot of those super slick washes leave behind a residue?
 
I do not consider ONR to feel very slick like a soap. If you think ONR is safe, then I do not think you can trust that feeling that some use to decide lubricity. Lubricity must not mean slick or safe.

Hmmm. Never used ONR so I wouldn't know, but if you're saying it's not very slick and everyone uses it with fine results, then I'll assume that CWG is safe as well.
 
It's safe and is a good wash, but can easily strip wax (as it's intended to) due to the citric acid content. At the above dilution, (1oz to 4 gallons of water) it should be fine accoding to the bottle.
