The test is over. I left the panel outside on a bank so water would not stand. We got a good rain after 2 days and this is the result. Yes, you can tell something is still there but nothing really to note.

Based upon this, since I know trim dressing (like UTTG, PB's TR, etc) actually last a lot longer i decided to just switch to trim restoration products on plastic lined wells.

Thanks for the reviews Bunky.

I've been using CG's silk shine spray-able for wheel wells. Its a bit thick and needs to be spread but it soaks up nice and no sling. Ill have to do a comparison it to some megs all season if i can get my hands on some.

thanks for the review. my next product to try for the wells is megs all season dressing. heard good things about it. i currently am finishing up a gallon of detail kings black out. water based. 50:50 so it made 2 gallons. i was impressed with the product for the price. interesting peach smell.

Wheel Well Dressing

I love ASD. It's my all time fav tire dressing. I don't use it on wheel wells though. I just use my crappy tire dressing I want to get rid of :D

I still have tons of bottles of Street Appeal Tire Dressing I got at the Dollar Store. Can't beat it for a dollar for wheel wells lol.

It's the rain season here in Florida and I prefer not to have to redress my wheel wells every time they get all soaked. I will eventually try Bare Bones and UC--although I don't want anything greasy as I read UC is-- so what I've been using on my daily driver with great durability actually is Pledge with Future floor shine. It matches the gloss/color of my Honda's wheel weels, as it did my Maxima. In fact the only set of wheel wells, I've seen I would say it is too shiny/wrong color for would be my Audi ( I use something else on those).

The Pledge with Future lasts me about 4, maybe up to 6 weeks. It doesn't wash off, necessarily, it kind of fades until it isn't very noticeable. I park the car on four pieces of cardboard for each wheel and apply with a long handled sponge. I let it sit over night. Durable and good looking.

Hmm I didn't know that.

I've used UC and I liked the look once I wiped it down. It did have a greasy feel to it which was a turn off. I used it on my TA and I never thought it attracted more dirt but I agree it doesn't seem to last long
