as mentioned before, best i have ever used, very hard to find!! had to order from www.waxdepot.com had it one time at a discount place here cheap, should have stocked up!! if you never tried it, find it!! it's that good.

That's one that I have wanted to try for some time....I'm going to ask my local detail supplier to see about getting it
 
I have never tried it before, what makes it better then any other type of aresol spray dressing? Just curious I have heard so many good things about it.

kind of hard to explain till you use it. degrease your engine. then apply cd2. dry's to a amazing shine that's just right. and protects your metal/rubber surfaces. and really lasts!! you will find yourself cleaning your engine less often.

will do...how far does a can take you? My engine is pretty clean as a regularly wipe it down.
 
Two applications??? I hope you are getting more than that out of one can. I typically get several engines out of a can. This stuff is something that I would put at the top of my list of all time favorite detailing products. If I had to make a list of things that makes the OCDetails service what it is, then I would definitely have to say that CD2 Engine Detailer would be on that list. Here are a couple examples of transformations caused by some engine detailing and CD2. Keep in mind that these results don't come in a can, but the product does have a lot to do with it.

This one is entirely due to CD2. The engine was a little bit dusty is all and this is what it looks like with a little bit of product.

This is by far one of the best engine detailing tools you'll find. Like I said before, obviously there is more to the process than just soaking it down with this, and yes.. there are other products that can do something similar, but the differences in application, appearance, and durability make this product something worth buying by the case. I only go through maybe a dozen cans a year, but I also charge $60 for an engine detail, so I would say it is worth the $40 or $50 a case that it costs. I'm into this product maybe a hundred bucks a year and it nets me way over that in just job satisfaction alone. It's a great thing to have something handy that can make a brand new engine look even better. Its so hard to do that anyway, so every little bit helps.

Ok, I'm off my soap box now. You guys should do a search on this stuff here on the forums. There have been some good discussions about it here in the past. :bigups
 
Thanks for the post Jngrbrdman. I have read alot of the old posts but forgot about it until it was brought up again. I think I am going to order a couple of cans.
 
This is a product that I've been wanting to try for a while too. I might just have to save that link.
 
It is an awesome product. I have been using it to restore the rubber and plastics on the engine bay in my Corolla. I took some pictures today that I'll post when I get home tonight. The product is awesome. It has some cleaning ability that really kick in when a lot of the ground work has already been done. I wouldn't just spray it on a greasy engine and walk away, but when there is some light stuff that it can sort out it does a terrific job. I wish I would have taken before pictures of the engine before I started working on it. It looks brand new right now and it looked terrible before.
 
Oh, and you can find it on Amazon.com too. Midway-something-or-other sells it on there. You pretty much have to buy it by the case to make it worth it, but having a case around is sooooo worth it. Like I said... $60 bucks for an engine detail pretty much makes it worth the cost for a case. I can get four or five engines out of a can if I'm using it heavily. I have one can for my Pilot that I've been using for a few months now and I still have half of it left. I just spray it down every other week when I'm detailing it to keep it looking new. In fact, the engine in my '99 Accord looked so good that I even had mechanics confused. One belt that I had never changed looked so good that the mechanic thought it was brand new. No cracks on the edges or anything. Its because it was a belt that I always hit with CD2 when I detailed the engine.

My personal promise to anybody that uses it is that if you buy a case and don't like the product, then let me know and I'll buy the rest of the cans off you. I don't care how many cans I have on my shelf. It will never be enough. lol
 
So what you do is spray the cleaner on use the brushes to agitate then rinse with water...let dry and apply the dressing?


Like most here I want to try this stuff real bad...seems like its fast...or faster than spraying APC and doing the same?

I am so going to call my local supplier and see if he can get a line on this stuff.........DARN YOU GUYS:D:D:D:D

If Eric starts to carrie this stuff, let me know. I wanna try it out hella bad too!! Sounds/looks like awesome stuff.

I'm going to call him in the AM...I know one thing he will at least give it an honest look...I wonder if they have a product that is like it from P&S

Hmmmm thats a good? Eric is deff cool about carrying new products. I was talking to him about the FK1 pink hand glaze you use. He said he will think about putting in a order sense he carries one of their sealants. Ill swing by at lunch and see what he says about the CD2. Have you checked kragens or Napa? I know the Napa here in Ctown said they can order me a case of CD2. I can always you order you one too.

I have seem CD products but at a couple of places here locally but not the cleaner....pepboys, wal mart, target...that where they have it that I know of...I will see if Eric can help us, has my interest
 
great pics!! and yes, you get SEVERAL applications out of a can. (my fault). sad....i just checked my last can, and at the discount place i paid $1.59/can!!! i did stop on the way home, but they no longer had it. so that's why i ordered more last nite.
 
I am lucky in Ohio the only place I can find it is at Discount Drug Mart. They always have it, and its about $4.50 a can.
