CD-2 Engine Detailer……

In case you’re looking for some CD-2 locally, I spotted some at my local AutoZone. They only had three cans; I grabbed all of them for $4.99/ea. Happy hunting.

Are you sure ? Cause my local AZ never had it, and I stopped in to pick up some lithium grease and saw the cans on the shelves. Picked up 2 just for the hell of it......

Could be stock on some locations and some not. Isn't stock independent of the store itself.....

This stuff has been popping back up in places that had long been out. Often enough that I guess it could be possible it's being made again? I bought three cases off of Amazon last summer when it looked like it was gone for good, now my local Autozone has it in stock again, too.

A lot of the times I find them behind the newer product, the chrome cans get stuck in the back by careless stock boys...and if you check your receipt, the printout should say a different product then cd-2, the new name for the replacement product... is what mine from autozone say...

read thru this beast http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-product-discussion/101691-cd-2-engine-detailer.html?highlight=cd2 and you will see most of the others find theirs @ autozones too, I have found at least 20 cans there, most of it is dusty and hidden in the back, do they have more hidden in the store, maybe

Which Auto Zone? I go to the one in Bethpage, I don't want to waste my time if you cleaned them out.

I got them from the AutoZone on Hempstead Turnpike near 106…..I believe that is the East Meadow store.

Could these traditional retailers have decided to pick up the product line again after hearing all the glowing reviews posted here???

Same here at my local store in Pearland, Texas. 10 cans and I am good to go

I don't know what the hype about this thing is all about, but now that you've peaked my curiosity, I went to the AutoZone near my work (for those in the Bay Area, CA, this store's located on 3880 S. El Camino Real in San Mateo near Belmont). They had at least 8 - 10 cans. I picked up two. I hope it lives up to expectations because I've been scrubbing my engine down and I bought a 5 liter refill of P21S TAW for the basic cleaning.

BTW, my receipt indicates "Black Magic 2 in 1 Engine Shine, 20 oz / #238559 4516-6" at $4.99 a can. Maybe this somehow got mixed up with the CD-2 in their system.

I strongly believe you will not be disappointed, if applied correctly.

I was certainly impressed with it after using it for the first time. I'll be checking the local Autozones to see if anyone has any.
