Cd-2 discontinued?

Geez are you guys sniffing this stuff or something? What is the deal :nixweiss

I have 2 cans sitting in my cabinet and frankly they will likely stay there collecting dust. I have used it several times, gave it a chance and pushed it to the back of the cabinet. To me it conjures up pictures of 50s greasers who just slap grease on their hair rather than wash it ;)

I really wish I could find something like Meguiars Enginekote, that stuff was da bomb!

CD2 works everywhere on the engine compartment. I found EngineKote worked best on painted metal. Try it again and see if you can give it a chance

Are those pics right after application? I agree it looks great initially but when the engine heats up CD2 turns into a greasy mess and tends to attract dirt and anything else that makes its way into the engine compartment.

It might be fine for a garage queen but my Mustang is a daily driver and I actually found the engine compartment would stay cleaner longer with just a good cleaning than it would with CD2.

I guess as with most things the old saying applies, "your mileage may vary" ;)

This isn't the greatest of pictures but here is my 4.6L with Enginekote. I found that application was easier and I got better results when I diluted it a bit with water.

Theres my 4.6 after CD2. You guys must be using the whole can or something cause mine is NEVER greasy, lasts for a while as well and doesn't attract dust.
