Detail Noob said:So is it a real big deal to get the 5" backing plate if youre a beginner ? I was looking at these pads but Im confused on which plate to get. I would think you would have more even pressure distribution with the 5" as opposed to the 3.5".
Also if you have the 5" pads is it still reasonable to get 4" spot buff pads, or is the 5" pad a good all around pad ?
