I just received this:

The Blitz is an APC that I'm going to try, as well as the leather care product. The others I know and use normally.

Let me knw how you like the Raindance Lackfinish and Shampoo. In the USA, the Raindance Shampoo is called Perls... for an obvious reason.

David, I've been using them for some time, these are my stock replacement.

The Shampoo is THE BEST I've used, ever, and I also have the Sonax. Makes the wash very slick and together with the Lackfinish, leaves an almost dry and shinny surface.

I strongly recommend them. :xyxthumbs

One more thing, the best way to describe the Lackfinish is that it's a QD that you spray on the surface before the final rinse. It reduces a lot the water present by increasing beading, making the vehicle dry process very easy, and leaves a great just QDed looking car.

Can't wait for you to try them and give your feedback.

It's been awhile since I've been able to visit Autopia and this is the first post that popped up. Anyway, Bill, Lackfinish is different. It is geared towards those folks who can't polish their car at home but rather they use a self-service wash box. After you rinse the shampoo and the paintwork is still wet, you spray Lackfinish on the surface, wait a few seconds and rinse again. So again, you spray it on wet paintwork. While Lackfinish doesn't polish the car, it adds depth and gloss and provides a mild polymer protectant like Raindance Shampoo (Perls Shampoo in NA).

However, JGV, have you tried it as a dry QD? Works very well IMO--I know, I'm slightly biased. But I really am happy. Great cleaning effect. Great gloss enhancer and it adds that polymer layer still. As with all QDs, it works best with a microfiber. It also works well in direct sunlight.

I never tried it as a QD, not that I hadn't think about it, but somewhere in my mind was the idea that it could be too concentrated, as it's supposed to be used in a wet car. But I'll try (as soon as the rain stops  ).

The good thing about using both (shampoo+lackfinish) is the QD-as-you-dry thing, you skip one step and have great results in the end, looks incredible.
