I just purchase a gallon of this stuff and a spray few bottles and was wondering what ratios people suggest for the following...

Engine

Rubber/Vinyl Floor Mats

Carpet

Wheels/Tires

Wheel Wells

I was going to make a bottle for each because I hate making one then having to poor it out when I need to something alittle stronger or weaker.

Gosh Patrick, you go kind of light on the engine and tire ratios.

I use 1:1 on tires and engines. I use 3:1 on lower rocker panels and bumpers with an oxo brush for baked on garbage.

The other dillutions look good.

It's an awesome product. Better than the other OTC APC's.

I use it straight on tires, wheel wells and bad engines, 1:1 on pretty much anything outside other than paint, maybe 5:1 on REALLY bad quarterpanels, 10:1 on anything interior (other than rubber floormats, they get 5:1 up to straight depending on how filthy they are)

you can still get it? I'd buy everything in stock if it was still around.

Has it been discontinued, or just renamed/reformulated?

If it's more effective than Meg's and other APCs, what makes it so, please?

I am in Va and I was told that it is too strong so they were pulled from all walmart stores in Va.

It is very effective. Gets things off other chemicals can't touch. MHO

Hmmmmmm.........Maybe they reformulated it....The stuff I have, for well over 18 months is incredibly strong......Im really going to miss it if its no longer made....What will I get next ?

Yeah, I miss it too. It was some hardcore stuff. Nowadays, I just use Purple Power, and I find myself using it straight 75% of the time. That gives you an idea just how much stronger SC was, back when I used SC I never needed to use a foaming engine degreaser, now I use a can a week.

This stuff looks like it might actually be even stronger than Castrol SC, but its a tad pricey (works out though if it really is THAT dilutable)

My Honda dealer has a number of bottles, so I picked up 2 today :D

They did a hell of a job taking out a very difficult ding. (the dealer, not the bottles)

Thomas,

I had to be at Criswell Honda in Germantown anyway, so I thought I'd give their guy a go. I haven't called your guy yet, but plan on doing so this or next week. I just don't know how convenient it is for him to come all the way up here, but I'll check with him.

And they had plenty of bottles on the shelf, collecting dust mostly, for about $4.50/ea if i remember correctly.

holy crap, it's not made anymore? I just bought a bottle at a local NAPA auto parts store.... maybe I should go back and grab more of it! They had quite a few in stock.
